Rahal was born in Sauronix, and later sent to Gordius with his friend Roog to commence his training as a prospective member of the Dragon Cavalry. Upon graduation, he served in the Dragon Cavalry alongside his steed Flail, and was eventually promoted to a position as advisor to Craig Laden.
He later joined the Prince's army and helped recapture Sol-Falena from the clutches of the Godwin family. He returned to Sauronix afterwards and assumed the position of Commander of the Dragon Cavalry after the resignation of Craig Laden, whereupon he implemented several reforms, including the opening of the Dragon Cavalry to women.
